RL - RIP Toby

I'm terribly sad...my beautiful, loving tabby cat disappeared this week on Monday. I went out searching house by house for him, and found him...dead...on a neighbor's lawn. No injuries or anything, just laying there like he wanted to be played with or something. I am heartbroken! The vet said it looks like his heart just stopped beating, so he wasn't in any pain. I'm still sobbing...but I buried him in the back yard under his favorite tree. RIP Toby baby!

Bluebird is not soaring at all right now, even though it's my favorite weekend of the year as the airshow is back in town. I will go, and take lots of pictures, but my heart is still heavy. I keep thinking I hear Toby meow for me around the house, or look for him to meet me at the back door to the yard. I've never gotten so attached to a pet before, but Toby was always under foot looking for a pet or someone to pick him up and carry him around. He loved to be touched and played with and gave such love in return. I'm still in shock about it all...he was only 7 yrs old, so I had planned for him to be part of my life for a long time yet...

RIP Toby...the rest is silence.
